Metal Stud Framing Foreman

FDS Enterprises & Construction is looking to hire a Working Drywall Foreman with expertise in carpentry. The Foreman is expected to lead a team of individuals from the range of 2 to 30 people on various current and future projects. They must also have experience working with owners, project managers, and a track record of implementing quality control and safety procedures on small to large commercial projects. Daily Reports such as, JSA's and Time Sheets are expected to submitted for every work shift along with photographs of job's progress.

Important Things To Note:

Candidate will be a Non-Employee 1099 Contractor. Candidate must have 5 years of Commercial Construction experience and framing tools. Candidate must be thoroughly knowledgeable in Metal Stud Framing, Wall Layouts, Drywall Hanging, and Acoustical Ceiling Tile. Candidate must be moderately knowledgeable in Drywall Finishing and Painting for quality control. Pay starting at $25.00. Could be more depending on experience. Candidate must have reliable transportation. Candidate that is willing to travel. Bi-lingual Candidates are a plus. Reading and understanding blueprints Preparing, configuring, and assembling the required tools, including ladders, measuring tapes, hammer drill machines and straightedges Marking and cutting the metal studs based on the blueprints Drawing chalk lines on metal frames to level them up Complying with relevant regulatory practices related construction projects and safety requirements Assembling metal stud framing Carrying construction materials and metal stud frames from one place to another within the construction site and assisting forklift operators with the transportation process Installing metal stud framing Inspecting completed work and verifying it with the design and blueprint Attaching metal frames with preconfigured horizontal and vertical wallboards Preparing small openings into the metal frames with drilling tools to make space for electric lines and outlets Supervising relevant construction workers Using different fastening tools, such as screws, nails, studs, and connectors Installing decorative trim for windows, doors, walkways, and other places Reporting everyday progress to the construction supervisors or asset owner Inspecting the quality of the procured metal stud frames if needed FDS Enterprises & Construction is looking to contract a Metal Stud Framer that is willing to travel. Candidate must have commercial experience and framing tools. Candidate must have reliable transportation. Candidate can make $25.00 depending on experience. FDS will be conducting interviews ASAP.
