This role is vital in ensuring that all aspects of hardscape work—including concrete, masonry, stonework, and fabrication—are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. As a key team leader, you will coordinate crews, manage materials, and ensure projects stay on schedule while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a hands-on professional passionate about transforming outdoor spaces with expert craftsmanship and leadership. Responsibilities Lead and supervise landscape hardscape crews in the installation of bluestone, masonry structures, stonework, and other hardscape elements. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed construction plans to ensure accurate execution of designs. Manage daily operations on-site, including scheduling tasks, coordinating with other trades such as plumbing and electrical teams, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and fabrication equipment to complete projects efficiently. Conduct construction inspections to verify quality standards are met at each phase of installation; address any issues promptly. Collaborate with project managers to assist in construction estimating and material procurement for upcoming projects. Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications while maintaining a clean and organized job site. Skills Extensive experience in construction management with a focus on landscape hardscape projects. Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating processes. Strong knowledge of concrete forming techniques, concrete finishing, masonry work, Familiarity with Bluebeam software for digital plan review and project documentation. Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation including forklifts or skid steers used in landscape construction. Knowledge of construction site safety practices combined with excellent leadership skills to motivate teams effectively. Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients or project stakeholders; ability to read schematics and technical drawings confidently.
