Job Overview We are seeking a reliable, experienced and detail-oriented Foreman for Commercial Carpentry to lead and supervise our construction crews on commercial projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily operations, ensure safety compliance, and deliver exceptional results through effective management of construction activities. Duties Lead and supervise carpentry crews on commercial construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to project specifications Coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide team activities Ensure all work complies with safety standards such as OSHA regulations and company policies Conduct quality control inspections to maintain high standards of craftsmanship and adherence to project plans Manage on-site materials, tools, and equipment including heavy machinery l Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smooth communication and resolve issues promptly Skills Proven supervising experience in commercial carpentry or related construction fields Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes Hands-on experience with construction site safety protocols including OSHA standards Management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining quality control standards This position provides: Company van Fuel card Company cell phone Company iPad Excellent PPO health insurance Dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off $1,000 sign-on bonus paid after 60 days
