Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Independent Contractor - Finish Carpentry (1099) to assist our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering top-quality finish carpentry services across various residential construction projects. Your expertise will ensure that each project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers opportunity to work independently while collaborating with project managers to bring the client vision to life. This position is for an Independent Contractor. Must hold your own General Liability Insurance and will be a 1099 Contractor. Willing to work 2-4 days per week depending on workload. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, and technical drawings to execute precise carpentry work. Perform framing, trim carpentry, molding, cabinet installation, door hanging, with accuracy and attention to detail while adherding to project specfications. Must have your own tools and abide by OSHA safety standards while on jobsite while maintain a clean and organized work environment. Experience Proven experience in construction estimating, framing & trim carpentry. Demonstrated ability to operate hand tools & power tools safely and efficiently. Extensive construction site experience including working with schematics and blueprints for residential projects. Familiarity with fixture installation such as cabinets, doors & experience with remodeling projects highly preferred. Strong background in working with various materials including woodworking products like cabinetry or woodworking materials. Insurance & Contractor Requirements Must maintain current General Liability Insurance and provide proof of coverage prior to performing work. Must be eligible to work as an independent contractor and complete all required 1099 documentation. Contractor is responsible for all applicable taxes, insurance, licenses, and business expenses associated with their services Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation Must provide your own tools and equipment necessary for the work performed. Paid as a 1099 Independent Contractor for work performed. Compensation structure may be hourly, daily, or per-project, depending on the scope of work and experience.
