Job Description

Complete Automation, located in Lake Orion, Michigan, is a global industry leader in fluid delivery systems. We are seeking an innovative Field Electrician interested in a solid career with a dynamic team. Complete Automation provides customers with complete turn-key solutions employing our expert services in design, engineering, fabrication, installation, start-up and training. This job is travel based (80%-90%). Position Summary Complete Automation is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Foreman to support the installation of industrial automation systems, primarily within the automotive industry. This role is highly travel-focused and involves coordinating and executing electrical installations in collaboration with our electrical engineering team, customers, and electrical contractors. The ideal candidate is hands-on, knowledgeable in industrial electrical systems, and capable of leading and inspecting electrical installation work to ensure safety, quality, and code compliance. Key Responsibilities Lead and support on-site electrical installation of industrial automation systems Coordinate with Complete Automation electrical engineers to interpret drawings and installation requirements Perform and oversee: Conduit routing and installation Pulling and terminating wire and cable, including: 480V three-phase power 120V
AC 24V DC
control wiring Intrinsically safe wiring Inspect electrical work to ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, standards, and customer specifications Serve as a technical point of contact on-site for customers and electrical contractors Assist in planning installation activities, sequencing, and manpower needs Identify and resolve installation issues in the field Promote and enforce safe work practices at all job sites Required Qualifications Journeyman or equivalent experience in industrial electrical installation Strong knowledge of: Industrial power and control systems NEC (NFPA 70) and applicable electrical codes Industrial automation environments Proven experience with conduit installation, wire pulling, and termination Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and installation drawings Comfortable working on active manufacturing floors, including automotive facilities Willingness and ability to travel extensively (approximately 80-90%) Preferred Qualifications Foreman or lead electrician experience Experience in automotive manufacturing environments Familiarity with working alongside electrical engineers and automation teams Experience coordinating or overseeing electrical contractors Skills & Attributes Strong leadership and communication skills Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety Professional demeanor when interacting with customers Ability to work independently in the field Problem-solving mindset Travel & Work Conditions Extensive North American travel required (including Canada). Work performed at customer manufacturing facilities May require overtime, weekends, or off-shift work depending on project needs Complete Automation Offers

Equal Opportunity Pay:
$82,000.00 - $86,000.00 per year
