  • Ability to pass preemployment and random drug test.

  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction of buildings, electrical equipment, industrial processes, or other structures as necessary. Specific Position Requirements

  • Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to assigned employees on the safe operation of equipment and tools and work techniques necessary to complete work assignments.
  • Scheduling equipment and supplies related to project activities.
  • Establish and adjust timelines to meet the construction schedule for the project.
  • Organize and maintain project materials and equipment.
  • Read and interpret specifications, contract documents, plans, and prepare sketches of proposed work as well as producing layout drawings and code calculation for project blueprints, sketches, and diagrams.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with General Contractors and other trades on the project.
  • Communicate clearly and efficiently between Project Manager and crew.
  • Analyze and resolve any issues that may arise and ensure corrections are made in a timely manner.
  • Enforce safety and work performance standards and regulations.
  • Effective clear communication with office staff, project managers, General Contractors, and other Subcontractors.
  • Complete task on time based on estimated time of completion.

  • Understand grounding for 120-480V systems and transformers, conductor sizing and grounding methods.
