Job Description

Commercial Painting Foreman:
The foreman's main goal in overseeing painting projects is to finish them on time, within budget, and with good quality. This involves planning the project, managing resources well, making sure the work meets standards, and keeping everything safe and compliant with regulations. The foreman leads the team to deliver a well-done painting project that satisfies the client while ensuring a safe and efficient work atmosphere.
Project Planning and execution:
Work closely with Project managers to create a comprehensive project that outlines scope, timeline, and specific tasks related to the painting project. Efficiently allocate onsite workforce, equipment, and materials daily. Ensure that the right personnel with the appropriate skills are assigned to the specific tasks. Create and maintain a project schedule that is developed with the project managers. Managing all subcontractors and their materials to complete projects on budget and on time. Ensure all Change Orders (additions or changes to the scope of work/contract) are delivered to the appropriate Project Manager for execution following the proper SOP. Act as a conduit for information needing to be passed to the Project Manager.
Customer Service:
Communicate with all customers as necessary to understand any questions they may have. Update Project Superintendents with any changes to their project schedule - weekly. Ensure all Vork Brothers Painting employees / subcontractors are communicating with customers in a professional and polite manner. Ensure none of Vork Brothers Painting employees / subcontractors communicate with customers about the work scope, design, or make suggestions outside of the contracted scope of work. Project Superintendent must be contacted within 4 hours of customer complaints being received. Employee/ subcontractor Training /
Quality:
Conduct initial orientation on each project to ensure that all employees are briefed on site organization and Vork Brothers Painting policies. Conduct safety training to ensure that all employees understand Vork Brothers Painting safety practices and are committed to their execution. Ensure all employees have a clear understanding of tools; their use, how to operate them safely, cleaning procedures, as well as trailer use and organization. Conduct training necessary for each employee to develop required skills in their specific role to produce jobs confidently and efficiently. Quality control &
Assurance:
Maintain detailed records via company cam and Knowify (pictures of work complete, damages, etc.) Take ownership of project outcomes and lead problem solving efforts Regularly inspecting work of crew members to ensure compliance with industry standards. Safety & compliance: Enforce day to day safety talks to ensure compliance with company and jobsite safety protocols. Follow safe working practices and ensure team members do the same by checking in regularly and planning accordingly with equipment needed for the job. Properly maintain jobsite cleanliness "a clean site is a safe site." Qualifications Strong background in commercial painting projects with a focus on OSHA regulations and construction site safety. Experience in supervising and managing teams in the construction industry. Familiarity with premium skills such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera is a plus. Knowledge of blueprint reading and quality control processes. Driver License and reliable transportation Bilingual (English / Spanish)
