The Landscape Construction Foreman responsibilities include overseeing the construction of outdoor landscapes and spaces (softscape and hardcape), regular communication with designer/architect to ensure holistic understanding of project and client wants/needs, training and mentoring crew members, supervising the use of equipment, ensure crew members observe safety protocol, and completion of various administrative duties (utilization of Aspire software in daily routine). The Landscape Enhancement Foreman must effectively and efficiently guide each project through to completion while ensuring the crew stays on time and budget. Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age;
• Must have valid Chauffeur's License with a clear driving record;
• At least 2 years of experience as a landscape construction/install foreman or 3 years as a landscape construction/install crew lead/right hand;
• Basic understanding of design principles;
• Great attitude, character, integrity, and work ethic;
• Careful attention to detail and accuracy;
• Strong customer orientation and ability to effectively adapt and respond;
• Willingness to learn new skills and abilities the "TruNorth" way;
• Leadership skills required to successfully manage a lead a crew of 3-5 members;
• Experience installing hardscape materials, including pavers and retaining walls.
• Experience with masonry and natural stone;
• Willingness to teach others how to install hardscape materials and masonry techniques;
• Demonstrated knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscape installation and construction.

Preferred credentials:

• Commercial Operator License (CDL)

Landscape Construction Foreman Primary Responsibilities:

• Delegating and assigning tasks at the jobsite, including coordinating work flow, hands on work, and operating a variety of equipment and machinery.
• Effective communication with and management of crew members and subcontractors.
• Assisting with the recruitment and training of new crew members.
• Regular communication with project manager and design/estimating team to ensure proper understanding of the design and client needs/wants.
• Communicate production goals with crew members, project managers, General Manager, and clients.
• Ensuring proper adherence to safety and health regulations by all members of the crew at all times.
• Completing landscape installation and construction projects in accordance with job plans, design, and client contracts.
• Completing routine inventory checks and equipment inspections.
• Represent TruNorth Landscaping in a positive and professional manner and operate with the highest level of integrity.

Physical Requirements:

• This position involves physical labor, including lifting, bending, and operating machinery. Candidates must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to safely lift 50lbs or more.
• Ability to stand, bend, perform repetitive motions, and walk for extended periods of time up to and including entire shift.
• Able to work 40-60hrs per week based on job site progress.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
