Carpenter / Remodeler / General Handyman — Northwind Trailer Group - Blooming Prairie, MN — Northwind Trailer Group is looking for a highly motivated, dependable, and versatile individual to join our growing team. We build and customize high-end trailers, RVs, fish houses, toy haulers, and specialty units — and we're looking for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, creative problem solving, and seeing projects through from start to finish. This is not just another "clock in and clock out" position. We are looking for someone who enjoys being challenged, wants to continue growing their skill set, and takes ownership in the work they do. What We're Looking For We need someone who: Highly-dedicated and accountable to efficient working style staying focused and completing quality tasks in a time-sensitive manner Self-disciplined, resourceful, consciences, reliable, dependable, and purpose-driven is a must. Is self-motivated and capable of working independently Takes pride in producing high-quality work Is creative, innovative, and solution-oriented Enjoys building, repairing, customizing, and improving things Maintains efficient use of time while still delivering exceptional workmanship Is dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Wants to learn, grow, and continually improve Works well as part of a team Is willing to teach others while also being coachable themselves Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic Skills Preferred (But Advanced Experience Not Required) Experience in the following areas is highly preferred: Carpentry / finish carpentry Trailer or RV remodeling Framing and structural repair Basic plumbing Basic electrical wiring HVAC installation or troubleshooting Flooring installation Cabinet installation and fabrication Metal fabrication or welding (a plus) Mechanical aptitude Tool and equipment operation Aluminum welding You do NOT need to be an expert in every category.
