Lead Framer/Foreman

Custom home builder now hiring Lead Framers and Foremen! We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Lead Framers/Foremen to oversee framing operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will work alongside other tradesmen to build and construct residential single-family homes and townhomes from the ground up. As a pivotal leader on the team, you will coordinate and supervise framing crews, manage schedules, and uphold safety protocols. Your expertise in framing, construction management, blueprint reading, and site supervision will drive project success from start to finish. Work is local, territory is assigned based on where you live (to minimize commute), and hours are steady year-round. We offer a competitive wage, comprehensive benefit package, and advancement opportunity! Duties Construct single family homes and townhomes from the ground up using wood framing, panels, and trusses. Operate hand and power tools safely and follow all safety guidelines. Work at heights two to three stories up, on ladders and in lifts. Lead and supervise framing crews, assigning tasks and monitoring progress to meet project timelines. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate framing execution. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources. Enforce safety standards by implementing OSHA regulations and conducting regular safety meetings on-site. Conduct quality control inspections to verify that framing work complies with design specifications and building codes. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, or similar tools for scheduling and documentation. Oversee site logistics including pipeline management, managing budgets, and ensuring adherence to project schedules using Primavera or other scheduling software. Wood framing of residential homes from the ground up Skills Extensive experience in construction site supervision with a strong background in residential framing. Reliable transportation daily to and from job site Possession of work boots, tool belt and basic hand tools Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check Willingness and ability to work outside in varying temperatures and elements Willingness to participate in any/all safety training required for the position Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating. Familiarity with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, HeavyBid or equivalent platforms. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site safety management. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately; experience with Ohmmeter for electrical checks is a plus. Strong management skills with proven success supervising teams in fast-paced environments. Skilled in project scheduling, budgeting, quality control measures, and managing subcontractor relationships.
