Provides oversight to Electrical craft team members.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide shift supervision for the assembly/manufacturing team members Lead production team members with an intense focus on safety and quality while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as internal company policies Develop work instructions and cross-training plans Provide on-the-job training and lead by example Drive continuous improvement of plant key performance indicators (Safety, Quality, Customer Service, Cost) Adjust schedules and workload balance as required by the operation Monitor supply inventory levels, and coordinate with others when reordering is necessary Utilize lean methodologies and tools in order to accomplish production goals Take ownership of functions and be responsible for the facilityQUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED Minimum five years of related experience Trade or technical school certification/diploma Project specific/Mortenson training Current driver's license Ability to speak and understand English (Spanish is a plus); some ability to read plans; shown emotional intelligence; ability to operate equipment such as table saws, radial arm saws, belt & disc sanders, drill presses, fall protection equipment, rigging, and form systems Strong teamwork orientation, positive attitude, professional customer service skills, detail orientation, active listening skills, and effective communication including openness to diverse input and feedback Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements •Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.Please note:
