Full Job Description Schedule:

Monday-Friday (daytime hours, project-based) About the Role We're looking for a skilled, dependable Lead Remodeler / Carpentry Crew Lead who can both do the work and help lead the day-to-day on site. Our projects include a mix of interior remodeling and exterior carpentry (decks, fences, etc.), so this role is ideal for someone with a well-rounded skillset who's comfortable working across both. This is a hands-on position. You'll be working alongside the crew while also helping keep projects on track, solving problems as they come up, and making sure the job runs smoothly. What You'll Be Doing Work alongside a small crew on residential projects Help lead daily jobsite workflow and keep things moving Communicate with ownership on progress, issues, and material needs Plan ahead and stay on top of next steps Help direct crew members and maintain accountability on site Read and execute scopes of work, layouts, and job notes Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite Deliver high-quality work that reflects well on the company Types of Work Framing and general construction Finish carpentry and trim Deck and fence builds Door and window installation Drywall install and repair Cabinet and built-in installation General remodeling and punch list work What We're Looking For 3+ years of residential remodeling or carpentry experience Strong, well-rounded skillset (interior + exterior work) Experience leading or directing a small crew Able to work independently and make decisions on site Comfortable communicating with both crew and ownership Experience pulling trailer. Spanish-speaking or bilingual strongly preferred Detail-oriented with pride in finished work Reliable, consistent, and takes ownership of the job Requirements Own basic tools Reliable transportation Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in indoor/outdoor conditions Valid driver's license preferred Authorized to work in the U.S. Important Details This is a 1099 independent contractor role: No taxes withheld No benefits provided Contractor is responsible for their own taxes and insurance Hours may vary based on project schedule
