Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Foreman to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate daily operations on-site, supervise teams of skilled tradespeople, ensure safety compliance, and maintain project schedules and budgets. Your leadership will drive project success by managing resources effectively, reading blueprints and schematics accurately, and ensuring quality standards are met at every stage. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the construction process, foster teamwork, and deliver exceptional results on complex projects. Responsibilities Lead and supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient workflow and safety compliance. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide project execution accurately. Manage project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or Primavera to meet deadlines. Oversee quality control measures, ensuring work adheres to specifications, safety standards (OSHA), and client expectations. Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment, including heavy machinery like Ohmmeters for electrical testing when required. Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and prepare progress reports to keep stakeholders informed. Enforce safety protocols on-site, conduct safety inspections regularly, and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members. Experience Proven supervising experience in construction projects with a strong background in construction site management. Hands-on experience with construction estimating, budgeting, contracts management, and project scheduling. Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating processes. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and best practices for maintaining a safe work environment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and foster collaboration across diverse trades.
