Landscape Construction Foreman Olive Branch, MS 38654 From $21 an hour - Full-time From $21 an hour - Full-time
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Foreman, Construction, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding crew members on job sites to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. In this role, you will balance hands-on installation work with leadership responsibilities, including training crew members, maintaining open communication with supervisors, and ensuring all work aligns with project specifications and budgeted hours. You will also be responsible for monitoring safety, reporting equipment or site issues, and setting the standard for craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Lead crew members on job sites to ensure that all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner within budgeted hours at the highest quality standards in accordance with job specifications. Complete all the necessary paperwork in a timely manner. Communicate daily with supervisor for all aspects related to assigned job sites. Train and develop crew members. Report equipment problems, unsafe conditions, and accidents to your supervisor and safety manager immediately. Install plants, landscape lighting, hardscape features, and irrigation systems. Load and unload plants and trees, grade and prepare topsoil, stone, mulch, and other landscape materials. Install pavers, walkways, steps, retaining walls, and block walls. Operate power equipment such as tractors, chainsaws, sod cutters, bobcats, etc. Operate tools including rakes, shovels, saws, axes, and shears. Work carefully on projects to provide the best quality to customers. Other duties as assigned.
ABOUT YOU
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. 1+ year of construction landscaping, groundskeeping, or outdoor labor experience Basic computer and phone skills Ability to read plans and use a scale Special Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Ability to lead and teach others Regular and reliable attendance. Competency in operating equipment in compliance with company safety regulations. Strong dedication to delivering quality work on every task. Pay:
From $21.00 per hour
