Job Description

Rauser Builders is hiring a Carpentry Foreman to lead field crews on residential and commercial construction projects throughout the Gallatin Valley and surrounding areas. This is a working foreman position for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, leads by example, values strong relationships, and keeps projects moving efficiently while maintaining high construction standards.

Rauser Builders is a Belgrade-based general contractor serving the Gallatin Valley and greater Montana region. Our team delivers civil, commercial, and residential construction projects with a focus on integrity, craftsmanship, and strong relationships.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Carpentry Foreman, you will be working alongside our team (bags on) and lead daily jobsite operations and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the standards Rauser Builders is known for.
Key responsibilities include:
Supervise and work alongside carpenters and laborers on active job sites Set the pace for productivity, safety, and craftsmanship Mentor and train crew members to strengthen the team Perform and oversee framing, structural carpentry, and general construction tasks Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and building codes Maintain consistent quality from layout through completion Coordinate daily work with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers Help maintain project schedules and resolve field issues quickly Proactively ensure that materials, equipment, and tools are available and properly used Inspect work throughout construction phases to ensure accuracy, quality workmanship, and compliance with applicable building codes, project specifications, and industry standards. Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites Enforce jobsite safety standards and OSHA guidelines Conduct regularly scheduled safety jobsite safety checks Provide daily updates to project management Maintain jobsite documentation, photographs, and progress reports

Qualifications include:
5+ years experience in carpentry or general construction skills Strong background in framing and structural carpentry Experience leading crews or serving as a lead carpenter / foreman Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain jobsite efficiency Clear communication with crews, subcontractors, and management Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift 50 pounds of materials and work in outdoor construction environments Competitive Salary Based on
