This role involves managing on-site operations, supervising construction teams, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining project schedules and budgets. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with construction management software and technical tools. Your energetic approach will drive project success while fostering a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment. Duties Lead daily on-site construction activities, coordinating tasks among subcontractors and team members to ensure timely project progression Supervise and work with construction crews, providing clear direction, training, and performance feedback to optimize productivity Monitor safety protocols rigorously, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and other safety regulations at all times Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure accurate understanding of project scope and specifications. Collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and project coordination. Monitor construction site activities to ensure quality standards are met while adhering to schedules and contractual obligations. Maintain comprehensive records of project progress, change orders, contracts, and safety documentation for transparency and accountability. Skills Extensive experience in construction site management with a proven track record of supervising teams effectively Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for precise execution of plans Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety practices to maintain a secure work environment Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and team members Requirements Proven experience in construction site supervision combined with project management responsibilities across commercial or civil projects. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Solid understanding of construction processes including site logistics, safety protocols, schematics interpretation, and contract management. Hands-on experience with construction site activities such as excavation, septic, sewer and cistern installation and repair, concrete work or related civil disciplines is highly desirable. Help us take our excavation operations to the next level! This position requires the following at minimum: Ability to pass a drug test. Valid and current Class A CDL and at least 2 years of adequate professional driving experience. Clean driving record for the past 2 years. Proficiency in the safe and skillful operation of a variety of construction equipment including skid steers, excavators, rollers, graders, dozers, etc. Ability to safely load and unload materials and equipment. Working knowledge of general equipment maintenance and minor repairs. Ability to quickly learn a variety of new skills pertaining to the position. Ability to work independently and within a team. Ability to lead and direct a crew to complete the work in a safe timely manner. Must be physically able to carry at least 100 lbs., continually get in and out of vehicles and equipment, stand/sit for extended periods of time, and work, drive, and operate equipment in varied weather conditions. Possess a basic knowledge of construction terminology and procedures, with a willingness to grow and learn in knowledge and skills. Knowledge of septic, sewer and cistern systems a bonus.
