ASAP Electrical Lead/Foreman Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Electrician Foreman to lead and work alongside our electrical team on new commercial construction projects. This is a hands-on field position that requires strong leadership, proven installation expertise, and the ability to keep crews productive, safe, and aligned with project goals.
Electrical Lead/Foreman Responsibilities:
Oversee electricians and apprentices while also working on your tools Lead and work directly with a crew of electricians and apprentices on active job sites. Oversee all phases of new commercial construction, including layout, rough-in, wiring, conduit installation, panel/switchgear installation, equipment setting, and final trim. Actively participate in daily work — pulling wire, bending conduit, installing devices, troubleshooting, and ensuring high-quality workmanship. Interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, and specifications to plan and execute work. Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to maintain schedule and resolve field conflicts. Maintain strict adherence to NEC, local codes, and company safety standards. Conduct daily safety meetings, oversee crew productivity, and mentor apprentices. Track materials and equipment needs; help manage jobsite inventory. Complete daily reports, timecards, and necessary jobsite documentation.
Qualifications:
Proven experience overseeing 3-5+ electricians. Strong technical skills in commercial electrical installation methods. Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and electrical schematics. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. OSHA 10 or 30 preferred. Must be able to perform physically demanding electrical work. Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted. Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves Must have standard electrical hand tools.

Must be eligible to work in the United States Must have reliable transportation to the job site
