Job Description

E2 Mechanical is seeking an experienced Pipefitter Foremen to add to their team! The Pipefitter Foreman will be responsible for overseeing the successful completion of assigned pipefitting construction projects that can vary in scope and size. Job Duties:
Passing on to other workers the instructions received from supervisors and getting work started, e.g., by assigning the immediate tasks to be performed by individual members of the group led. Work along with other workers and set the pace. Demonstrate proper work methods. Ensure that needed plans, blueprints, materials, and tools are available, and that needed stock is obtained from supply locations. Obtain needed information or decisions from supervisors on problems that come up during the work. Maintain a current knowledge, and answer questions of other workers on procedures, policies, written instructions, and other directives (for example, technical orders) Ensure that there is enough work to keep everyone in the work crew busy. Check work while in progress and when finished to see whether the supervisor's instructions on work sequence, procedures, methods, and deadlines have been met. Lead other workers to follow instructions received from supervisors, and to meet deadlines. Assure that safety and housekeeping rules are followed. Report to superintendents and project managers on status and progress of work and causes of work delays. Answer questions of supervisors on overall work operations and problems
Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years of verifiable industrial/commercial pipefitting experience Familiarity working with various piping materials including carbon steel, copper, ductile iron, and PVC. Proficient in assembling butt weld and socket weld carbon steel systems including tack welding. Skills related to copper brazing is a must qualification. Must be able to travel to jobsites. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to successfully interact with employees and clients on a professional level. Thorough knowledge of piping blueprints, specifications, and codes. Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
