Charlotte, NC Job Details Full-time 15 hours ago Qualifications Driver's License As-built drawings Public utility experience Equipment testing Underground utilities installation Construction project closeout Full Job Description Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Utility Testing / Punch Foreman to lead final-phase utility inspections, testing, and punch list completion on civil construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring all installed utilities meet project specifications, regulatory requirements, and client expectations prior to project closeout. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate all utility testing activities , including water, sewer, and storm systems Perform and oversee pressure testing, mandrel testing, infiltration/exfiltration testing, and CCTV inspections Manage and track project punch lists , ensuring timely and accurate completion Work closely with project managers, superintendents, inspectors, and municipalities to achieve approvals Identify deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions with field crews Maintain detailed records of testing results, inspections, and punch list progress Ensure compliance with safety standards, project specifications, and local regulations Supervise and mentor field personnel assigned to testing and punch work Coordinate scheduling of inspections and testing with internal teams and external agencies Qualifications 3-7+ years of experience in civil construction, specifically underground utilities Strong knowledge of water, sewer, and storm systems installation and testing procedures Experience with municipal inspections and project closeout processes Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and as-built drawings Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Effective communication and leadership abilities Valid driver's license required Preferred Qualifications Experience with CCTV equipment and reporting software OSHA certification (10 or 30) Knowledge of local municipal standards and permitting processes
