Responsibilities:
Lead and instruct a crew in the layout, installation, and connection of electrical systems Assign daily tasks and ensure crews remain productive and compliant with company policies Lead by example in workmanship, safety, professionalism, and work ethic Install and connect wiring, conduit, cables, fixtures, and electrical equipment per drawings and specifications Perform complex electrical work related to new construction, maintenance, or repairs Layout and work from ladders, lifts, scaffolds, and rooftops as required Communicate daily with the Project Manager regarding progress, issues, and jobsite needs Report any deviations from plans before work is performed Coordinate with general contractors, customers, and other trades on scheduling and sequencing Maintain and submit material lists with adequate lead time (typically 24 hours) Notify Project Manager of manpower changes or jobsite staffing needs Complete and submit timesheets by Monday morning; approve crew timesheets Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite Adhere to all company policies and OSHA safety requirements Participate in jobsite hazard analysis and report safety concerns immediately Represent the company in a professional manner at all times Maintain company vehicles and notify management of maintenance needs Assist in meeting or exceeding labor and material budgetsQualifications:
Licensed Electrician or 3-7 years of relevant electrical experience Commercial and/or industrial electrical experience working on multi-million dollar projects required Proven experience leading crews in the field Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings Strong knowledge of electrical tools, equipment, and safety procedures Valid driver's license in good standing Personal tools as required by company policyPhysical Requirements:
Must be capable of working in inclement conditions to include extreme hot and cold temperatures. Must be physically capable of manually digging & back-filling holes and trenches. Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs. Must be able to talk or hear, sit, stand, bend, stoop, stretch, twist, use hands, and/or reach out for prolonged periods of time Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and poles. Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits. Must be able to work around wood dust and fumes Maybe exposed to heights and loud noises Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds. Must be aware of OSHA safety standards Pay Transparency The anticipated salary range for this position is $93,200 to $93,600 Pear Year, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
