Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, assembly, and maintenance of piping systems in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of welding techniques, blueprint reading, and the ability to work with various materials. The Pipefitter will play a crucial role in ensuring that all piping systems are built to specifications and function efficiently. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of piping systems. Assemble and install piping systems using various welding techniques, including stick welding and soldering. Fabricate and build custom pipe fittings as needed for specific projects. Perform tube bending to create custom shapes for piping installations. Inspect completed work for accuracy and compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of piping systems within larger projects. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and adhere to safety protocols at all times. Experience Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry. Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is essential. Familiarity with welding processes, including stick welding, soldering, and fabrication techniques. Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in pipe assembly and installation. Ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple tasks effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are critical for success in this position.
