Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pipe Foreman to lead and oversee pipe installation projects within the construction industry. As a key leader on the site, you will coordinate crews, ensure adherence to safety standards, and manage project schedules to deliver high-quality pipeline solutions efficiently. Your expertise in construction management, blueprint reading, and technical skills will drive project success from start to finish. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead teams, implement best practices, and contribute to large-scale pipeline projects with precision and enthusiasm. Key Responsibilities •
Crew Leadership:
Direct, train, and manage field crews in pipe-laying, joining, and sealing activities. •
Technical Execution:
Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. Set up precise grade-checking tools, such as pipe lasers, builder's levels, and GPS equipment. •
Safety & Compliance:
Act as the on-site safety manager, ensuring full compliance with OSHA standards, trench shoring guidelines, and company safety programs. •
Logistics & Material Management:
Coordinate with project managers to order, inventory, and stage materials (e.g., PVC, HDPE, DIP, RCP) ahead of time. •
Site Operations:
Oversee trench excavation, pipe alignment, backfilling, and compaction. Requirements & Qualifications •
Experience:
3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in underground utilities (water, sewer, storm drains) or mechanical piping, including previous supervisory or lead experience. •
Certifications:
Valid OSHA 10-Hour or OSHA 30-Hour construction cards are highly preferred •
Technical Skills:
Strong mathematical and spatial ability to calculate slopes and densities. Proficiency in operating heavy equipment (backhoes, excavators, skid steers) is common for field-working foremen. •
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication for meeting with superintendents, property owners, and crew members, as well as basic IT skills for managing digital timecards and daily reports Join our team as a Pipe Foreman where your leadership will shape essential infrastructure projects! Pay:
$35.00 - $45.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
