Full Job Description Overview:
Vista Aircraft Maintenance is seeking to hire an AOG Supervisor to join our Mobile Repair Team (MRT) operating out of Teterboro, NJ. The AOG Supervisor - Mobile Repair Team (MRT) operates under the Vista Aircraft Maintenance FAR Part 145 certificate and exclusively supports Vista's aircraft fleet. This role provides direct leadership, coordination, and operational oversight for MRT technicians engaged in scheduled and unscheduled mobile maintenance support. The AOG Supervisor is responsible for technician readiness, execution quality, compliance, communication, and team performance in support of aircraft availability and operational continuity across Vista's global fleet Vista Aircraft Maintenance is the in-house maintenance provider for the Vista Members' fleet, which comprises an unrivalled fleet of light, super mid-size, long-range, and ultra-long-range aircraft. Vista Aircraft Maintenance has multiple maintenance hubs strategically located across the U.S. and Europe. By investing in internal maintenance, Vista prioritizes the highest standards of service, safety, security, reliability, and value while supporting a seamless global operation. The salary range is $55-70+ per hour. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the daily operational execution of the MRT technician team. Assign resources, coordinate response coverage, and support technician deployment in alignment with operational priorities. Provide frontline leadership, coaching, and accountability for technical execution, conduct, communication, and documentation standards. Partner with Maintenance Control, QA, leadership, and other stakeholders to support safe, compliant, and efficient maintenance execution. Monitor team workload, travel readiness, fatigue considerations, tooling readiness, and schedule effectiveness. Review maintenance execution trends, technician performance, operational delays, and repeat issues, escalating concerns and recommendations as appropriate. Support hiring, onboarding, training, development, and progression of MRT technicians. Reinforce compliance with approved maintenance data, company procedures, safety expectations, and regulatory requirements. Support incident review, root cause follow-up, and continuous improvement efforts related to field maintenance execution. Promote a high-performance, highly accountable, service-oriented MRT culture that supports the Vista operation. Assist lead technicians and supervisors with any other work-related tasks, as needed. Required Experience, Qualifications, and Education FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate Minimum of 6 years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience. Previous lead, supervisor, or team leadership experience preferred. Certified under Title 14 CFR Part 65 (Airframe and Powerplant license required). Proven ability to lead projects independently and manage complex maintenance tasks. Advanced troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical systems on aircraft. Valid driver's license required. Must be eligible for domestic and international travel and required operational access.
