Job Description

Stryker Heating, Cooling & Plumbing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Plumbing Mechanic/Foreman with strong understanding and skills in mechanical piping to join our growing team. We work throughout the counties and surrounding areas of Hunterdon, Somerset, Warren, and Morris of New Jersey, in addition to some areas of eastern Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in commercial plumbing and mechanical piping installations, the ability to lead crews in the field, and a strong understanding of construction schedules, coordination, and quality workmanship. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, organized, and capable of managing projects while working hands-on alongside the crew. Experienced Plumbing Mechanic /
Foreman Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing and mechanical piping systems Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings Coordinate and supervise field crews on active job sites Plan daily work activities and ensure projects stay on schedule Oversee installation of domestic water, sanitary, storm, gas, and hydronic piping systems Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, and other trades Ensure all work is performed safely and meets applicable codes and quality standards Troubleshoot field issues and provide practical solutions Maintain clean and organized job sites Assist with material takeoffs and field logistics as needed Experienced Plumbing Mechanic /
Foreman Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of commercial plumbing/mechanical piping experience Previous foreman or leadership experience preferred Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and mechanical piping Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications Experience managing crews and coordinating workflow Valid driver's license and clean driving record Strong communication and problem-solving skills OSHA certification preferred but not required Journeyman license preferred but not required
