This role is vital in ensuring that plumbing systems are installed, maintained, and inspected to meet project specifications, safety standards, and quality benchmarks. As a Plumbing Supervisor, you will coordinate teams of plumbers, manage schedules, and collaborate with project managers to deliver successful outcomes. Your expertise in construction management software, blueprint reading, and technical skills will drive efficiency and excellence across all plumbing activities. Duties Supervise and coordinate plumbing installation activities on construction sites, ensuring adherence to blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Lead and manage plumbing teams, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing guidance to ensure timely project completion. Review construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to interpret project requirements accurately. Oversee quality control measures by inspecting work for compliance with safety standards (OSHA), building codes, and project specifications. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, or similar tools to plan schedules, track progress, and manage budgets effectively. Conduct site inspections using tools like ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues within plumbing systems and ensure proper functioning. Collaborate with project managers on project scheduling, budgeting, contracts management, and resource allocation to optimize workflow. Experience Proven supervising experience in commercial or industrial plumbing projects within the construction industry. Strong background in construction site experience with a focus on plumbing systems installation and maintenance. Demonstrated ability in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6 (Primavera), HeavyBid or equivalent programs for project scheduling and estimating. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and budgeting practices related to plumbing scopes of work. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices for maintaining a safe work environment on heavy construction sites. Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing systems. Experience managing contracts and ensuring compliance with project specifications while maintaining quality control standards. Management skills with a history of supervising teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
