Robertson Installations specializes in sales/design/installation in commercial playgrounds in Nevada. We service public schools, parks, churches, and daycares. We are looking for a motivated, well rounded person to lead a crew in playground installations. A construction or carpenter background is preferred with layout, concrete, footings, tradesman, and the ability to read plans. Job duties require site prep work in skid steer, layout and digging of footings, assembly of commercial playground equipment, and installation of borders and wood fiber surfacing. Qualifications:
- Background in construction Required
- Tradesman with concrete, footings, and reading plans experience required.
- Strong capacity to follow step by step installation instruction from the manufacturer
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively of themselves and their crew
- Able to lift 75 plus pounds
- Demonstrate team player
- Some experience operating a skid steer
- Possession of valid driver's license
Responsibilities:
Lead, supervise, and motivate a crew of installers to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to company standards Manage daily jobsite operations, including scheduling tasks, assigning responsibilities, and ensuring productivity Read, interpret, and execute construction plans, layouts, and specifications accurately Coordinate site logistics such as material staging, equipment usage, deliveries, and jobsite cleanliness Oversee site prep activities including layout, excavation, concrete footings, and final grading Ensure proper installation of commercial playground equipment, borders, and surfacing per manufacturer and safety requirements Enforce safety procedures and OSHA guidelines; conduct daily safety briefings and hazard assessments Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, clients, and crew members regarding progress, issues, and changes Monitor quality control and perform final inspections to ensure work meets company and industry standards Track labor, materials, and job progress; report daily updates and address challenges proactively Train and mentor crew members, promoting skill development, teamwork, and accountability Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in safe working condition
