Hardscape Foreman Tripi's Landscaping Blasdell, NY Job Details Full-time From $30 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork Outdoor work Inventory management Driver's License Loader operation Landscaping Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hardscape Foreman to lead and oversee the installation of outdoor hardscape features, including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and decorative stonework. This role is vital in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. As a Hardscape Foreman, you will coordinate crews, manage materials, and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications. Your expertise will help transform outdoor spaces into functional and aesthetically stunning environments that exceed client expectations. Duties Lead and supervise hardscape installation crews, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications and company standards. Read and interpret schematics and construction drawings to guide installation processes accurately. Coordinate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to schedule work phases and resolve on-site issues promptly. Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and fabrication techniques necessary for light masonry, paver laying, and other hardscape tasks. Conduct construction inspections to ensure quality control standards are met throughout each phase of the project. Manage materials procurement, inventory control, and proper storage of supplies such as pavers, stone and other hardscape components. Skill Proven experience in construction management with a focus on hardscape installation or related fields such as masonry or landscaping. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and construction inspection procedures. Strong communication skills with clients when estimating future jobs and throughout their construction process. Skilled in using hand tools and power tools specific to hardscaping construction as powered tamper, block saw and other battery powered tools. Ability to read technical schematics for electrical systems or plumbing as needed for integrated projects. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to coordinate teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards. Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Skilled in operating heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and skid steers.
