Connect Housing Blocks is seeking an experienced Training Foreman to help lead and develop our workforce while remaining actively involved in the work itself. This is a hands-on working foreman position — not a classroom training role. The Training Foreman will work directly alongside employees on the production floor, demonstrating proper techniques, coaching team members, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to CHB quality standards. This role is ideal for someone with a strong construction background who naturally leads others and enjoys developing employee skills while contributing directly to production activities. The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate understands that developing employees requires more than instruction alone. You will actively work side-by-side with associates, demonstrate tasks, provide real-time coaching, and help ensure employees can safely perform work at the pace and quality required to meet production goals. Candidates should possess a strong working knowledge of construction trades and activities. Experience or specialization in areas such as plumbing, electrical, finish carpentry, drywall finishing, framing, or similar skilled trades is strongly encouraged. What You'll Do Work directly on the production floor alongside associates Train and mentor new and existing employees through hands-on instruction Demonstrate proper construction methods and techniques Lead by example while supporting daily production activities Ensure employees complete work safely, accurately, and within established production timelines Coach team members on quality, efficiency, productivity, and safety standards Provide real-time feedback and corrective instruction as needed Identify skill gaps and support employee development opportunities Partner with supervisors and production leadership to improve team performance Reinforce standard operating procedures and best practices across departments What We're Looking For 5+ years of hands-on experience in construction, or skilled trades Strong understanding of construction processes and trade activities Experience leading crews, mentoring employees, or training team members Background in carpentry, framing, drywall, finishing, plumbing, electrical, or related construction disciplines preferred Ability to effectively coach and develop employees with varying skill levels Strong understanding of production efficiency, quality standards, and workplace safety Hands-on leadership approach with willingness to work directly alongside employees Excellent communication and problem-solving skills This Role Is NOT A classroom-based training position A corporate learning and development role A desk-based supervisory position with limited floor involvement Why Join Connect Housing Blocks?
