Overview:
We're looking for a Skilled Trades Working Foreman who can lead from the floor and keep production running with consistency and discipline. This is a hands-on role — not a desk position. You'll work directly alongside employees while managing daily operations, coaching team members, maintaining schedules, and ensuring work is completed according to established methods and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of construction trades and activities. Experience in specialized areas such as plumbing, electrical, finish carpentry, drywall finishing, framing, or related skilled trades is strongly encouraged. This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership, leads by example, and can keep a team moving safely and efficiently while contributing directly to the work being performed.
What You'll Do:
Lead daily production workflow while working side-by-side with your team to keep jobs moving and completed the right way Perform hands-on work and demonstrate proper methods and techniques when needed Drive consistent execution of established processes, standards, and build methods across the floor Plan, organize, and coordinate workload to ensure materials are staged and labor is aligned Run pre-shift meetings, assign tasks, and set clear expectations for safety, quality, and daily output Monitor production performance throughout the shift and address issues in real time Train, coach, and mentor team members on proper methods, safe equipment use, and PPE compliance Ensure equipment and tools are maintained and available to prevent downtime Track production progress and provide updates to leadership on output, quality, and roadblocks Own quality on the floor by monitoring workmanship and ensuring work meets standards Enforce safety policies, quality expectations, and company procedures consistently
Qualifications:
Experience:
3+ years of hands-on experience in construction, manufacturing, or production — including supervising teams while performing the work yourself.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to identify issues and implement solutions quickly.
Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
