Job Description

We are a building restoration general contractor specializing in exterior restoration, building envelope repairs, masonry restoration, and interior renovations. We are seeking a Working Foreman to lead our building restoration and renovation crews. This is a hands-on leadership position. The right person will work alongside the crew while also taking ownership of daily job site operations, productivity, quality, safety, organization, and communication. This position typically leads crews of 4-6 employees and works closely with project management to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. Who We Are Looking For We are looking for a field leader, not just a crew boss. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, communicates well, keeps jobs organized, and helps promote positive crew morale. This role is best suited for someone who is comfortable being hands-on while also leading others, solving job site problems, and reducing the need for daily oversight from ownership and project management. Responsibilities Lead and motivate field crews of approximately 4-6 employees Set expectations for professionalism, productivity, safety, and quality Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites Coordinate daily work activities and keep crews productive Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available when needed Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and correct poor workmanship quickly Promote positive crew morale while maintaining accountability Identify and solve field issues before they become larger project problems Communicate regularly with project management regarding progress, manpower, production, and concerns Coordinate effectively with subcontractors and other trades when required Document job site conditions with photos and field notes when needed Perform skilled trade work as needed and lead by example Travel to job sites as required, including occasional overnight travel Qualifications 5+ years of construction experience Prior crew leadership, foreman, or lead-person experience preferred Ability to read plans, details, and specifications Strong communication and organization skills Ability to lead by example and work hands-on when needed Valid driver's license required Comfortable working at heights and on active construction sites Willingness to travel for project work, including occasional overnight stays Preferred Experience Building restoration experience Masonry restoration, tuckpointing, carpentry, roofing, painting, or related trade background Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades OSHA training or strong job site safety background What Sets Us Apart We are building a long-term professional field team, not simply filling positions. We offer company vehicles, daily per diem, health insurance, 401(k) matching, year-round work, advancement opportunities, and professional project management support. If you are tired of disorganized job sites, poor communication, or bouncing from project to project, this may be the right long-term fit. How to Apply Apply through Indeed with a brief summary of your construction, trade, and leadership experience. Photos of prior work are welcome but not required.
