As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Shingle Foreman to lead crews in our Shingling Department. This is a hands-on leadership role for a skilled roofer who takes pride in quality work, crew accountability, and job-site safety. This position utilizes a piece-rate compensation structure , with additional compensation for leadership responsibilities. Position Overview The Shingle Foreman leads shingle roofing projects from tear-off through completion. This role is responsible for crew direction, quality control, safety compliance, and maintaining productivity on assigned jobs while actively working alongside the crew. Requirements 6+ years of residential shingle roofing experience , including tear-off and installation. Applicants must demonstrate full mastery of the trade during an in‑person, hands-on interview using a mock-up. Proven ability to lead and manage a shingle crew Strong knowledge of residential shingle systems, materials, and proper installation techniques Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment with a dependable work ethic Accountable for job-site safety , ensuring compliance with company and OSHA safety standards Capable of directing daily work tasks and maintaining job-site organization Ability to train, mentor, and support crew members Physical Requirements Ability to lift 25 lbs. continuously , 50 lbs. frequently , and up to 75 lbs. occasionally Ability to climb ladders frequently Comfortable working outdoors in hot and cold weather conditions Preferred Qualifications CDL or ability to obtain one (eligible for extra compensation) Strong communication and problem-solving skills Reliable transportation and punctual attendance Ability to
