Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Commercial Construction Foreman to assist with the activities that oversee and coordinate large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with construction management software. This role involves assistance with supervising teams, reading project schedules, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining quality standards to deliver projects on time and within budget. Duties Work under the direction of the lead superintendent on site. Monitor trade partners' scheduled activities on commercial sites, ensuring safety protocols and quality standards are met Read and follow project schedules as administered from the lead superintendent on site Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide project execution Coordinate with trade partners, vendors, and clients to ensure timely delivery of materials and services Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and report to lead superintendent on site Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and standards as directed by the lead superintendent on site Assist with maintaining detailed documentation of work activities and safety reports Enforce OSHA regulations and promote a safe working environment on-site Requirements Proven experience in construction management with a focus on commercial projects Ability to read and follow schedules. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately Familiarity with quality control processes OSHA certification or equivalent safety training required Excellent management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in fast-paced environments This position offers an opportunity to be a part of building and managing impactful commercial projects while working within a dynamic team committed to excellence in construction management.
