On behalf of our client, a leader in industrial solutions, we are seeking a dynamic Supervisor to drive project success. This role is perfect for a hands-on leader who can balance field operations, mechanical assembly, and rigorous safety standards while keeping projects on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Leadership:
Oversee day-to-day industrial construction and maintenance operations, ensuring total compliance with safety regulations and fostering a collaborative team environment. •
Hands-on Mechanical Execution:
Assemble machinery and industrial equipment prior to installation using hand/power tools and welding. Perform routine preventative maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication. •
Project Management & Tracking:
Coordinate team schedules, delegate daily tasks to meet strict deadlines, and utilize construction management software for seamless project tracking and reporting. •
Safety Advocacy:
Maintain active OSHA certification to assess, implement, and train team members on strict safety guidelines. •
Stakeholder Communication & Mentorship:
Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing clear progress updates while mentoring and training field crew members to elevate their technical skills. •
Fleet Care:
Ensure regular upkeep and maintenance of your assigned company vehicle. What It Takes to
Succeed:
Professional Experience:
At least 2 years of proven supervisory or crew leadership experience within an industrial, mechanical, or construction environment, plus a minimum of 1 year of hands-on industrial maintenance experience. •
Technical & Mechanical Aptitude:
Strong ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and complex technical drawings. Proficiency with welding and industrial hand/power tools is required. •
Software & Logistics:
Familiarity with project scheduling and construction management software, alongside strict adherence to structural quality control standards. •
Travel & Commute:
Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the year (including overnight and long-distance stays). Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the Blandon, PA headquarters. •
Licensing & Screening:
Must possess a valid Driver's License and successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening (strict drug-free workplace policy).
