Job Overview :

As a Concrete Construction Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of concrete construction projects from start to finish. You will lead a skilled team of concrete workers, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Work is performed in a variety of locations across Western PA

• travel is required.

Your ability to manage resources, communicate effectively, and solve problems will contribute to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients.

Responsibilities:

Lead, supervise, and manage a team of concrete workers, including laborers, equipment operators, and finishers. Plan, organize, and coordinate the daily activities of the crew to ensure efficient project execution. Interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide the team in executing accurate work. Meet project timelines and budget requirements. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, fostering a culture of safety among the crew. Monitor and assess work progress, quality, and productivity, making necessary adjustments to maintain project objectives. Collaborate with project managers, construction managers, and the field superintendent to address any issues or changes in project scope. Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and equipment usage, and provide regular project status updates to management. Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges to keep the project on track and ensure timely completion. Train and mentor crew members, promoting skill development and career growth within the company.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Concrete Construction Foreman or similar leadership role. In-depth knowledge of concrete construction methods, materials, and techniques. Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in high-pressure situations. Proficiency in adhering to safety regulations and promoting a safe work environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Physical ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions, as well as lift and carry heavy materials as needed. Prefer ACI and NCEPT certification CPR/First Aid Certification preferred, will be provided upon hire if needed Traffic Flagging certification preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
