Job Overview:
W.A. Petrakis Contracting is seeking a dependable Gas line Foreman to join our team. A qualified Gas Pipeline Foreman will be responsible for daily operations of the jobsite, scheduling, ordering materials, managing manpower, and equipment, be the main onsite contact for projects, and any other support as needed. What You'll Do As our Foreman, you'll lead day-to-day field operations, ensuring projects run efficiently, safely, and on schedule.
Responsibilities include:
Manage crew, subcontractors, inspectors, and equipment movement. Coordinate daily work tasks, forecast materials, order supplies, and assign manpower. F use HDPE pipe, operate HDD (Moles), and excavate near utilities. Maintain accurate daily logs, paperwork, and safety checklists; ensure all work meets current Gas company standards. Serve as the primary onsite contact with project managers, site supervisors, inspectors, and subcontractors. Interpret blueprint drawings, specifications, and contracts to drive accurate execution. Handle loading/unloading tasks and perform routine vehicle servicing. Step in wherever needed to maintain momentum and jobsite efficiency. What You Bring Proven experience in managing gas pipeline construction crews and subcontractors. Excellent communicator and motivator, with strong leadership and morale-building skills. Deep familiarity with Gas installation methods, specifications, and safety protocols. Proficient in HDPE pipe fusion, HDD use, utility excavation, and equipment PA driver's license with a clean DMV record
