From the ground up, we're building consulting, design, and construction services and systems to engage with homeowners in the Portland Area / SW Washington to provide solutions to a variety of housing challenges. Job Summary We are seeking a collaborative Residential Construction Site Supervisor to lead and oversee residential building projects - ADUs, additions, and remodels - from start to finish. Working interdependently with a project manager and our teams, you will coordinate site activities, ensure safety compliance, manage subcontractors, and uphold the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your leadership is essential to project success, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met. Responsibilities Supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, schematics, and blueprints. Coordinate with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain smooth workflow and communication. Participate in hands-on work at the site including but not limited to preparing erosion control, taking elevations, staking out the build, and troubleshooting issues as they come up Conduct regular site inspections to enforce safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards and address any hazards immediately. Oversee quality control processes, including blueprint reading, schematics review, and ensuring construction meets specifications. This may include signing off on readiness for inspections across the construction lifecycle. Supervise a team of workers and subcontractors, providing guidance on construction techniques, safety procedures, and project expectations. Participate in team continuous learning and improvement discussions and practice Experience 1-2 years experience in residential construction including a strong background in supervising construction sites. Extensive knowledge of construction site safety regulations and best practices for maintaining a safe work environment. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Management experience supervising cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment, including remote work. Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional, interdependent team to achieve results
Pay:
$28.00 - $40.00 per hour
