Full-Time Spratlin Electric is seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Electrical Foreman to lead field operations on commercial projects throughout the Columbia, SC area. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced professional who takes pride in exceptional workmanship, jobsite safety, and guiding teams to successful project completion. If you're a confident field leader who thrives in a fast-paced commercial environment and knows how to keep crews productive, projects on schedule, and work code-compliant, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Lead, supervise, and mentor electricians and apprentices on active commercial job sites Manage daily field operations across one or multiple commercial projects Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics Oversee installation of conduit, panels, switchgear, transformers, lighting systems, and power distribution Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, NEC requirements, and company safety standards Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades Maintain productivity, quality control, and jobsite organization Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide practical, field-ready solutions What You Bring 5+ years of experience in commercial electrical construction 2+ years of experience in a foreman, lead electrician, or supervisory role Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) Proven hands-on experience with commercial wiring, lighting systems, panels, and distribution equipment Demonstrated leadership ability with a focus on teamwork, accountability, and deadlines Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation South Carolina Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred Why Spratlin Electric At Spratlin Electric, we're more than an electrical contractor—we're a team built on quality craftsmanship, integrity, and respect for our people .
