Job Description

Electricista Industrial (Industrial Electrician) - Industrial Electrician / Wireman Charleston, SC 29401 Contract Contract We are seeking highly skilled Industrial Electricians specializing in the installation, conduit bending, and wiring of automated manufacturing lines. You will be responsible for end-to-end electrical installation, from power distribution panels to field devices (motors, sensors, robots), ensuring compliance with the stringent quality and safety standards of the U.S. automotive industry. This position involves project-based work across various U.S. facilities.
Core Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum 2 to 5 years as an Industrial Electrician, Wireman, or Installer in heavy manufacturing or automotive assembly plants.
Language:
Intermediate to Advanced technical English (capable of reading manuals, electrical schematics, and communicating with local site supervisors).
Documentation:
Valid Visa (TN, B1/B2, or similar) to travel and work in the United States.
Availability:
Full availability to travel and remain on-site at U.S. manufacturing facilities for the duration of each project.
Technical Competencies:
Blueprint Reading:
Proficiency in interpreting complex industrial electrical schematics (NEMA/JIC and IEC standards) generated in EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical.
Conduit Bending:
Expert ability to measure, cut, and bend electrical conduit (EMT, Rigid) and install complex cable tray systems.
Wiring & Terminations:
Precision cable pulling and termination in control panels, junction boxes, and PLC I/O blocks.
Equipment Connection:
Installation and wiring of 3-phase motors, servo drives, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and field devices (sensors, pushbuttons, proportional valves).
Electrical Safety:
Mastery of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, Arc Flash safety (NFPA 70E), and use of precision testing instrumentation (multimeters, megohmmeters). Preferred Qualifications (Plus): Proven experience in installation or line upgrades at Tesla, BMW, or Volvo plants. In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and
NFPA 70E
standards. Strong troubleshooting skills for 24VDC control circuits and 480VAC power systems. How to
