Job Description

Working Foreman — Commercial HVAC/R & Mechanical Installation Refrigeration Heroes | Greer, SC | $38-$42/hr | Full-Time, Permanent We're a commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and food equipment company based in Greer, SC and we need a Working Foreman who's ready to lead. This is a full-time, permanent position. Not contract. Not seasonal. You'll have consistent work, a real crew, and a company that's growing.
What the job is:
You'll be in the field every day leading a crew on commercial HVAC/R and mechanical installation projects. You work alongside your guys — not above them. You set the pace, protect the quality, handle the daily communication with the customer and GC, and make sure the job stays on track. When younger installers need to learn something, you're the one teaching it. You'll work directly with our Project Manager to keep jobs on schedule and on budget. When something goes sideways, you handle it or you call it — you don't sit on it.
What we need from you:
Real field experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or mechanical construction You've run a crew before and people actually followed your lead You know how to read a job, manage materials, and keep a schedule You hold people accountable without making enemies You show up, every day, ready to work EPA 608 Universal preferred What we pay: $38-$42/hr based on your experience. If you've been doing this a long time and you're genuinely good at it, we'll talk about going higher. We also offer performance bonuses tied to how well jobs are run — schedule, quality, safety, and closeout.
