Plumbing Foreman

Plumber Job Description As a Plumber, you will be responsible for the installation of plumbing products across various building systems in commercial applications. You will need to interpret plumbing and mechanical plans and specifications to effectively layout and install sanitary and water supply systems, including sanitary sewer, storm water, and domestic and process water systems. You will ensure all installations are safe, comply with local building codes, and meet International Building Code requirements. Responsibilities Install plumbing products for multiple building systems in commercial applications. Interpret plumbing and mechanical plans and specifications. Layout and install sanitary and water supply systems, including sanitary sewer, storm water, and domestic and process water systems. Evaluate scheduled work and installation methods for safety and code compliance. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, a professional attitude, and exceptional work ethics. Work Environment You will be working onsite at various new construction and industrial sites, starting with the Hanahan water treatment facility. The role involves installing and upfitting sanitary pipe. The schedule is local work from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Initially, travel will be required until more local projects begin, around July. You may be asked to travel from time to time, but will not be gone for more than three weeks at a time. Travel outside of 50 miles will include a per diem. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ladson, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
