Job Description
Independent Contract Services Opportunity:
Seeking qualified installation service providers to perform residential utility installations under defined scopes of work. Contractors are engaged to deliver completed installations and functional outcomes as specified within individual service orders. Scope of Work Perform residential installations and equipment placement per service specifications. Complete required testing to confirm successful installation. Resolve installation‑related issues within the defined scope. Maintain professional interaction with property occupants. Communicate job completion status and any site issues. Submit required documentation for completed services. Supply all tools, equipment, vehicles, and materials unless otherwise specified. Maintain required licensing and insurance. Use own business methods and operational practices. Determine work schedules necessary to meet project requirements. Accept work on a non‑exclusive basis. Contractor Responsibilities Contractor must provide own tools, vehicles, and equipment. Experience with residential installations preferred. Ability to manage assigned jobs independently. Strong time management and communication skills. Compliance with safety practices and site requirements. Ability to complete work efficiently and meet scheduled deadlines. Provide all labor, supervision, tools, vehicles, and equipment. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Retain discretion over staffing, scheduling, and work processes. Must maintain required insurance. Commercial General Liability (Must meet Minimum Limits) $1,000,000 Occurrence/ $2,000,000 Aggregate. Per Project/ Per Location Aggregate will apply separately. Coverage shall be written on ISO Occurrence formCG 00 01
(10-01) Coverage will cover liability arising from the premises, operations, independent ontractors, products-completed operations and personal and advertising injury. General Contractor, Owner and all other parties of the General Contractor will be included as insureds on the General Liability Policy, using the ISO Additional Insured Endorsement CG 2037 or a manuscript endorsement providing similar wording and coverage. The Additional Insured Endorsement will apply on a Primary and Non-Contributing basis before any other insurance including self-insurance or deductibles. The Subcontractor will maintain General Liability coverage for itself and all additional insureds for the duration of the entire project and maintain Completed Operations coverage for itself and each additional insured for at least 3 years after completion of the project. Automobile Commercial Auto Liability limits of $1,000,000 each accident. Commercial Auto Coverage must include coverage for liability arising out of all owned, leased, hired and non-owned automobiles. General Contractor, Owner and all other parties will be included as additional named insureds on the automobile policy. Payment Terms Per‑Project / Per‑Work‑Order Agreement.
