In this energetic role, you will lead and oversee the construction of underground utility projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on every site. Your leadership will drive project success from start to finish, coordinating teams, managing resources, and maintaining strict adherence to safety standards and project specifications. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations on underground utility construction sites, including trenching, pipe installation, and backfilling activities. Lead and coordinate crews, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans and schematics. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities accurately. Oversee quality control measures, ensuring all work complies with industry standards, contracts, and safety regulations like OSHA. Monitor project budgets and assist with construction estimating and budgeting tasks to keep projects financially on track. Conduct regular safety meetings, enforce OSHA standards, and ensure all team members are trained in safe work practices. Collaborate with engineers, clients, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues promptly and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements Proven management experience in construction site supervision with a focus on underground utilities projects. Strong understanding of construction management software including Primavera P6, Bluebeam, ProCore, HeavyBid or similar tools. Extensive experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to underground utility systems. Knowledge of construction estimating, budgeting processes, and contract management principles. Familiarity with safety protocols mandated by OSHA or equivalent safety standards for construction sites. Hands-on experience with construction site activities such as trenching, pipe laying, backfilling, and quality control inspections. Supervising experience with a focus on team leadership, coordination of multiple trades, and project scheduling. Relevant certifications including OSHA safety training; additional certifications in Primavera P6 or Primavera are highly desirable. Join us in building vital infrastructure that shapes communities!
