Job description:
The Plumbing Superintendent Plan, organize, and lead plumbing work for assigned projects Manage multiple job sites and ensure work goes on schedule and within budget Ensure all work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, codes and company standards Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment and, deliveries to maximize efficiency and productivity Maintain project schedules and proactively identify and resolve potential delays
Field Supervision:
Supervise and support Plumbing Foreman and field crews Oversee labor to ensure productivity, quality, and adherence to safety standards Provide technical guidance to ensure proper installation and system functionality Maintain control of tools, equipment, and materials across job sites.
Communication & Client Relations:
Act as the primary day-to-day point of contact for assigned projects Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and inspectors Atten project meetings with proper documentation and updates Communicate effectively with Project Managers regarding progress, risks, and needs
Coordination & Accountability:
Coordinate subcontractors to ensure full execution of contracted scopes Track progress and hold teams accountable to performance expectations Identify issues early and implement solutions to maintain project success Minimum Qualifications (Must have):
    Education:
    At least a high school diploma or equivalent
      Experience:
      5-7 years of hands-on plumbing work (commercial/industrial projects)
        Leadership:
        Experience managing job sites, crews, or multiple projects
        • Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of plumbing systems, installation, and codes
        • Soft skills: Good communication, leadership, and organization
        • Blueprint reading: Ability to read construction drawings and specs
        Decision-making:
        Can handle pressure and resolve issues on-site
          Safety:
          OSHA 10 certification required Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have): 8+ years if experience in the mechanical or construction industry 2-3+ years in a supervisory or superintendent-level role Valid Tennessee Plumbing LLP License and ability to obtain a CMC-A License OSHA 30 Certification Experience with ProCore or similar construction management software Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field (preferred, not required)
