Full Job Description Reports To:
General Superintendent Job Summary The Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily field operations and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and in accordance with plans, specifications, scope of work, and company standards. This role leads jobsite staff, coordinates materials and equipment, monitors production, supports project documentation, and helps maintain quality and accountability in the field. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and conduct daily morning huddles with field staff to communicate safety topics, daily goals, jobsite expectations, and work assignments.
  • Coordinate and ensure compliance with project milestones and schedule requirements.
  • Monitor safety documentation and support scope of work plan completion.
  • Create, track, and communicate RFIs, scope changes, and T&M tickets as needed.
  • Review budgets and project-related expenses with management.
  • Track spread rates, production rates, and field productivity.
  • Attend and actively participate in project trade coordination meetings.
  • Manage and track on-site equipment, materials, and staffing.
  • Request equipment, materials, and manpower in advance to support project needs.
  • Assist with shop drawings and as-built coordination.
  • Enforce company standards, policies, and jobsite expectations with staff.
  • Mentor, train, and support junior staff and crew members.
  • Ensure work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Maintain communication with project management, office staff, vendors, subcontractors, and other trades.
  • Identify field issues early and assist in resolving problems to avoid delays and rework. Non-Negotiable Qualifications
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tape and bed, painting, wallcovering, or epoxy flooring.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a crew lead or in a supervisory field role. Preferred Skills
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage crews and multiple jobsite priorities.
  • Knowledge of safety requirements and jobsite documentation.
  • Ability to monitor labor performance and production goals.
  • Strong problem-solving and coordination skills. Work Environment / Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work on active construction jobsites.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift as required by jobsite conditions.
  • Ability to work at heights and operate or work around lifts and access equipment as needed.
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
