This role oversees crews performing grading, excavation, paving, utility installation, and site preparation, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specifications. Candidates must have strong site work experience, with a particular focus on data center projects. Extensive travel and the flexibility to work wherever projects are awarded. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of field crews on large earthmoving and site development projects. Interpret and execute work according to blueprints, specifications, and project schedules. Ensure proper grading, excavation, embankment, compaction, and utility installation standards are met. Maintain production goals while ensuring strict compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Coordinate equipment, materials, and manpower to optimize productivity. Communicate effectively with Superintendents, Project Managers, and subcontractors. Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce safety protocols. Monitor quality control and ensure work meets project specifications. Train and mentor crew members to develop skills and leadership capabilities. Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of heavy civil construction experience with emphasis on site development. Proven experience leading field crews. Strong knowledge of grading, excavation, drainage, and utility installation. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Willingness and ability to travel extensively and work nationwide. Valid driver's license required. Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings: background, physical, & drug. Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to stand, walk, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds. Work may require extended hours, weekends, and travel assignments. This is a full-time, benefits eligible position.
