Licensed Journeyman Electrical Foreman

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Licensed Journeyman, Electrical Foreman to lead and oversee electrical construction projects on-site. This pivotal role involves managing electrical teams, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering quality work that meets project specifications and deadlines. As a key leader, you will coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to drive project success while maintaining the highest standards of safety and craftsmanship. Your expertise in construction management, blueprint reading, and technical skills will be essential to keep projects on track and within budget. Duties Lead and supervise electrical crews on construction sites, ensuring all work aligns with schematics, blueprints, and safety standards. Coordinate daily activities, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project timelines efficiently. Oversee installation of electrical systems, including conduit bending, wiring, panel setups, and testing using tools like ohmmeters. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe work environment through regular safety meetings and inspections. Collaborate with project managers to develop schedules using Primavera P6 or other construction management software; track progress and update schedules accordingly. Review contracts, change orders, and project specifications; communicate scope changes effectively to team members. Conduct quality control inspections to verify workmanship meets industry standards; address any deficiencies promptly. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, safety records, and inspection reports using Bluebeam or similar construction management tools. Assist in budgeting efforts by tracking labor hours and material usage; support project estimating processes with accurate data. Foster a collaborative team environment by supervising subcontractors and ensuring adherence to project plans. Experience Valid Licensed Journeyman Electrician certification with extensive experience in electrical construction projects. Proven supervisory experience managing electrical teams on large-scale construction sites. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical codes applicable to commercial or industrial projects. Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, or similar platforms for scheduling and project tracking. Hands-on experience with construction estimating, budgeting, and contract administration. Demonstrated ability to read technical schematics and use testing equipment like ohmmeters effectively. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to electrical work; commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Experience with pipeline projects or heavy industrial construction is a plus. Excellent management skills with the ability to supervise multiple crews while maintaining high-quality standards.
