Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Foreman to oversee field operations on municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects in the Dallas area. This role is responsible for leading a crew, coordinating daily activities, and ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise field crews on water/wastewater and underground utility installations including water, sewer, and storm systems, pump stations, lift stations Plan daily work activities, assign tasks, and monitor crew productivity Read and interpret plans, specifications, and grade stakes to ensure accurate installation Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors in the field Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and local regulations Track materials, equipment usage, and job progress Identify and resolve field issues proactively to keep projects on schedule Train and mentor crew members to support skill development and performance
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in heavy civil or utility construction, with leadership/foreman experience required Strong background in water and wastewater infrastructure projects Proven ability to manage crews and drive productivity in the field Proficiency in reading construction drawings and grade/line control Solid understanding of excavation safety, trenching, and underground utility installation Effective communication and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license and ability to work in outdoor conditions Get job alerts Share Copied to clipboard Related roles Director of Water/Wastewater
