Commercial Plumbing Foreman

We are seeking a plumbing foreman who is bilingual who can work in the Plano, Tx area. This is a 90 day temp-to-perm position. Will manage/run crews, read plans/prints, layout and assign crew mix and tasks, complete job progress reports and request additional materials and labor as needed. Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities preferred of the position In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines. Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems. Ability to read and understand submittal drawings, plans and specifications. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Ability to communicate and report effectively. Aptitude in math. Problem-solving abilities.

JOB BAND AND LEVEL

Requires proficiency through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience. May act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience. Completes work with a limited degree of supervision and regularly provides guidance to others, and typically acts as a lead while coordinating the work of others.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work may be performed outdoors or on construction project jobsites subject to extreme heat and cold, noise, vibrations and dust, fumes, and oils. Must be able to wear applicable respiratory equipment and adhere to all company safety requirements.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work skillfully with both hands constantly; independently lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds routinely, 50 pounds frequently and 80 pounds occasionally; climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffold; kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push, pull, twist, finger, grasp and feel on a constant and repetitive basis; stand, walk, talk, see (20/20 vision naturally or corrected), hear within normal range and perform repetitive motion activities. Ability to physically negotiate the hazards of any construction worksite, e.g. uneven surfaces, floor openings, heights, construction debris and poor lighting and adhere to all company safety requirements.
