Guardrail Foreman Curtis Contracting, Inc. - 3.0 Richmond, VA Job Details Full-time 3 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Job Summary The Guardrail Foreman is responsible for managing the installation, maintenance, and repair of guardrail systems and impact attenuators. This position involves leading a team ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable regulations. The foreman also has daily communication with state / city inspection teams to coordinate daily activities and track quantities. Key Responsibilities Supervise, lead and train team in the installation, repair, and maintenance of guardrail systems (W-Beam, Cable barriers, End Terminals and Impact Attenuators). Interprets drawings, plans and blueprints to ensure precise installation of guardrail systems and impact attenuators. Manage on-site safety, including traffic control set-ups and compliance with VDOT and OSHA regulations. Operate and oversee the safe use of heavy machinery (Pounder truck, skidsteers and augers). Prepare daily and weekly foreman reports, track material usage, track and record daily quantities and manage crew's timecards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license (Class A or B CDL) Class "A" is highly preferred Clean driving record Minimum 5 years of guardrail experience or heavy highway construction GRIT certification, Traffic Control certification and OSHA 30 certification is highly preferred Ability to workdays, nights, weekends and or out of town when needed Benefits Competitive wages (depending on experience).
