PIPE FOREMAN MISSION
Lead underground utility crews safely and efficiently while delivering high‑quality pipe installation through strong leadership, technical expertise, and a positive jobsite culture.

Key Responsibilities and Description of Duties:
Safety & Compliance Possess and demonstrate advanced safety training specific to site development and underground utilities Maintain an advanced understanding of excavation and trench safety standards Proactively identify and correct unsafe working conditions before incidents occur Promote and strictly enforce the use of proper PPE and adherence to all safety procedures Safely shut down active utility lines in emergency situations Properly use confined space tools and safety devices Work safely in and around confined spaces in compliance with all regulations Leadership & Crew Management Lead by example with professionalism, accountability, and work ethic Maintain a calm and composed demeanor during challenges or high‑pressure situations Encourage employee growth, skill development, and sound decision‑making Communicate effectively with team members across all job levels Clearly explain daily work plans, tasks, and activity schedules Handle difficult or corrective conversations in a professional and respectful manner Set a positive tone on a daily basis while fostering a fun, respectful, and team‑oriented work environment Willing to step out of equipment and assist on the ground when needed Planning, Productivity & Reporting Plan and clearly communicate daily work activities, goals, and expectations to crew members Forecast and schedule labor, equipment, and material needs in advance Identify work activities that fall outside of contract scope and communicate accordingly Complete daily reports accurately and on time, including detailed descriptions of the work performed Consistently document work with photos and upload them with daily timecards Technical & Field Skills Read and interpret site and utility plans accurately Layout pipe and manholes from survey stakeout Set up and operate pipe lasers Shoot grades using a transit and level Understand and utilize on‑site GPS technology for layout and grading
Position Type:
Full Time Requirements Proven experience as a Pipe Foreman in underground utility and site development work Strong leadership abilities with a high level of safety awareness and organizational skills Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods Reliable transportation to and from work Regular attendance and punctuality are required
Compensation:
Salary Position:
Based on competency and skill level. Vehicle reimbursement and fuel card. Accrued paid time off (PTO) at start of employment, and paid holidays after 6 months. Employer-sponsored Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefit Plans become available on the first day of the month following 30 days of employment.
